Comfortable, but the velcro wears outMar 04, 2012

This back protector is surprisingly comfortable. I've worn it for around 10,000 miles now and you completely forget you are wearing it. Fortunately, I haven't taken a spill with it yet, so I can't say how well it protects you in one, but it seems sturdy enough.
The only complaint I have is that the velcro wears out a bit prematurely. The back protector itself is in tip top shape, but the velcro cummerbund is starting to have a hard time sticking and it is getting a bit lose. A better waist band would be good.
