awsome glassesMar 25, 2010 I have been buying Maui Jim glasses for about 5 years now. I believe they are one of the best brands around. I recommend it to everyone...

Fantastic lensesDec 13, 2009 After being fully committed to ray ban for over 10 years I decided trying something different. I was thinking about oakley but most of the models were too sporty looking so I purchased Mau Jim Banyans.
Amazing and superb clarity of lenses and very good fit around the nose.
I wish I new this product before.
Love Them!Nov 10, 2009 These glasses are exactly what I expect out of a great pair of sunglasses. With the vents in the top of the frames, I have not had any problems with them fogging up as I have had with other glasses in the past. They do not ride down the bridge of my nose when I sweat. I highly recommend these glasses.

Maui Jim WarranteeOct 20, 2009 I have used Maui Jim Warrantee service three times with excellent service and results. The first time I broke off the temples and really destroyed the metal frame on a pair of Diamond Head 145 (These are now discontinued). The glasses were replaced without question. The next time the lens coupling broke at the nose of a pair of Titanium frameless when dropped on concrete. The glasses were replaced without question. Finally I was skiing with a pair of polycarbonite sport frame, and after a day of freezing tempuratures I grabbed the temples aggressively and one broke. Again the glasses were replaced with out question.
What did all these instances have in common? All the glasses were purchased directly from the Maui Jim Website. A word to the wise, if you buy through a discount super store you are getting whatever they have in stock, not the latest items, so you may well be buying a discontinued product.
Go to the source, problem solved.

Beware Maui Jim Warranty!Aug 24, 2009 Our Maui's developed a slight crack exactly where the screw was fastened. We returned them for their "2 year warranty," since we only had them a few months. After a couple weeks we got a postcard from "Joan" in the repair dept. telling us that these were discontinued and that we could select another $300 pair for "30% off retail." When we explained that would be more than we paid through the awesome Amazon system, she said we were out of luck! She even trashed Amazon as "discounting discontinued models" when our model was described as a new model on their own website! "What about the warranty?" She said, well, there seem to be other cracks (implying a drop, etc.). In other words, no honoring warranty unless you pay to replace them for MUCH more than you'd pay new on Amazon! IMPORTANT: This review is NOT against any of Amazon's fine vendors, it is about Maui Jim itself. If you want a great brand of sunglasses at half the Maui price, with FAR more honest customer service, and no "phony" warranty, try Oakley's new radar range or other models *NEW* OAKLEY RADAR RANGE Sunglasses l Metallic Red Frame/VR28 Black Iridium Lens. Maui's are cool, but if you encounter any problems, don't count on their warranty to be even close to honorable.
